New Methods, Inc.

New Methods, Incorporated (NMI) is an affiliate company of Venture Plastics, Inc. and is located 35 miles north of Venture near Burton, Ohio. NMI was established in 1993 to provide capacity for the continuing growth of VPI’s expanding customer base.

This was accomplished by implementing the strategic plan of running smaller (15 press maximum) satellite plants with a high degree of shop floor control, and total quality management while maintaining a lower overhead base through leveraging of VPI’s executive management, purchasing, engineering and M.I.S. systems.

This concept also allows trying “new methods” such as progressive personnel policies/training and advanced manufacturing techniques on a smaller scale.

NMI operates on a twenty-four hour a day basis, 5-7 days a week with 12 presses.

The operation is housed in a modern 24,000 sq. ft. steel building capable of handling up to 14 presses. Assembly and full secondary operations are in place and available.

A well disciplined process control system is in place to assure consistently high quality production. The same strictly enforced quality system developed at our VPI facility is effectively applied at our NMI facility.
