Venture Plastics, Inc.

Venture Plastics, Inc. (VPI) is a privately owned corporation servicing the industry since 1969. The VPI facility is a modern facility in Newton Falls, Ohio employing about 130 nonunion people. The VPI staff also oversees the operation of its closely held affiliate New Methods, Inc.

Both facilities provide a total of 27 injection molding machines, 15 of which are at VPI, ranging in size from 55 ton to 725 ton. In house maintenance capabilities exist for both equipment and tooling. Value added capabilities include decorating, welding & assembly.

Manufacturing is performed with control, repeatability and quality as foremost objectives. State of the art processing technology, such as cavity pressure control, is sought to maintain a competitive advantage.

A well staffed Engineering Department readily assists customers in product and tooling development to take optimum advantage of the molding process as well as our value added processes.

VPI is TS-16949 certified. Our quality system has also been independently certified by a number of our customers. The quality system provides UL recognized material traceability, SPC data availability as well as responsive and effective interface with the customer.

We have a very diverse customer base in 20 states, Canada and Mexico. Major markets include appliances, communications, pumps, ladders and automotive. Major customers include Avaya (Lucent), Dover Corporation, Delphi Packard, Electrolux (Fridgidaire) and Werner Ladder. Current sales are approximately $20 million/ year.
